What /trending actually measures, /market, and the wider market commands.
What /trending actually measures
/trending is search volume. It counts what people running Proficy are scanning, right now, across thousands of groups, around 14,087 scans a day. Projects cannot buy their way onto it, and it is not a chain’s own hot list republished.
That makes it early and makes it noisy, in that order. A token appears here because a lot of people simultaneously decided to check it, which usually precedes it appearing anywhere else. Paid Trending slots exist, and they are labeled.
The ranking turns over completely within minutes. Checking it twice an hour apart is checking two different things.

/top10, and the buttons under it
/trending and /top10 drop the ranking into your own chat. The message carries two rows of buttons: a timeframe (1m, 5m, 1h, 24h, ALL) and a chain (BASE, ETH, SOL, BSC, HOOD), so the same message becomes any of the views without typing anything. You can also ask directly: /top10 hood, /top10 1h, /top10 10d.
Every row is a /p_ shortcut, so a token on the board is one tap from its whole scan.
The whole market on one card
/market answers with one picture of the market as a whole: total market cap with its move and the last hour’s money flow, the fear and greed index against where it was a week ago, BTC dominance with ETH’s and everything else’s share, the altcoin season index, and the top ten coins by market cap with their price and change. The caption names the three biggest gainers and losers over the same window.
The top row switches the window the changes are measured over. The bottom row swaps the picture in place for a heatmap of the top fifty coins or of the largest US-listed companies, so one message covers all three without anyone typing again. /pmarket does the same for groups where another bot already answers /market.
Coin prices, market cap, dominance, the fear and greed index and the altcoin season index are CoinMarketCap’s. Stock prices are Yahoo Finance’s. Proficy draws the card; it does not compute the indexes.
Major coins get their own card
Type $btc, /p sol or any CoinMarketCap top-100 ticker and you get the coin itself: price and the 24-hour move, a chart that opens on the 1D view, with 1H, 1W, 1M, 1Y and ALL a tap away, and its high and low, the RSI, where it sits in its 30-day range and whether it is above its 50- and 200-day averages, then market cap, volume, the month and the distance from its all-time high.
This used to be a DEX scan, and on a major’s ticker a DEX scan finds whichever meme borrowed the name. Over three weeks about 700 scans of tickers like $HYPE, $PEPE, $LINK and $TAO printed the wrong token. A group that genuinely trades the namesake still gets the meme, as long as it is a live token with real volume of its own.

The wider market
/index: the top coins by market cap, with a consolidated overview. This is the traditional market, not what Proficy users are searching./heatmap(or/dom): the crypto market as a heatmap, plus BTC dominance, over a period you pick with buttons. The same heatmap is one tab of/market./volume: the highest DEX volume right now, filterable by chain with/volume soland by window from the buttons./dext: DEXTools’ own hot pairs, which is a different population from ours and worth comparing against it./fearindex,/gas: the Bitcoin fear and greed index, and current Ethereum gas.
/pairs, /futures, /fed and /ave still answer but have come off the printed command list: new-pair feeds, Binance futures long/short ratio, FedWatch target rates and Ave.ai’s hot list respectively. They are kept for the groups that use them. The PinkSale presale commands are in the same position and are no longer documented at all; PinkSale has been quiet for a long time.
Trending channels
The ranking is also published continuously to Telegram channels, one for all chains and one per major chain, so you can follow it without running a command. Every handle here opens the channel.
