Getting started
Add Proficy to a group, run your first scan, and know which features need admin.
Proficy is a Telegram bot. There is no app to install, no account to make, no wallet to connect and nothing to sign. You add it to a group, somebody pastes a contract address, and it answers.
Adding it to a group
Open @ProficyPriceBot, tap the menu, and choose Add to Group. Or use this link, which skips straight to the group picker.
Not for moderation. Proficy will never delete a message or ban anyone. Admin unlocks two specific things Telegram gates behind it: ephemeral messages (the call prompt, and poker hole cards delivered into the group so nobody has to leave for a DM) and reliable message handling in large chats. Everything else works without it.
Finding your way around
/start is the map. It answers with five buttons, which are the five things people actually come here for:

Each one runs the real command behind it, so the button and the typed command land in the same place. /commands prints the full list at any time, and /sc on its own prints the Smart Charts guide.
Your first scan
Paste a contract address. That is the whole interaction. No command, no prefix.
Prefer a ticker? /p btc works, and so does /c eth for a chart. Every field on the card above is explained in Reading a scan card.
Using it on your own
Everything works in a direct message with the bot too. Group features (the leaderboard, flex stats, calls) need a group, because they are about the group.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no premium tier, no scan limit, no paywalled command and no token. Proficy is funded by projects paying to advertise on it, which is why every scan card carries a promo line and trading links. That is the entire business model and it has not changed since 2022.
There never has been. Anything calling itself $PROFICY is somebody else’s token and nothing to do with us.
